It gave me great peace of mind to know that I could hand over the process and the paperwork of bereavement to Marie and her staff, whose work over the 4 months following the loss of my partner, allowed me the time and space to work through the grieving process with my family and friends.
When my husband took terminally ill, I found myself overwhelmed by the Nursing Home process. I just wanted it done and for him to be cared for, but I didn’t know how or where to start. HereAfter took all this stress off my hands by steering us through it and the Fair Deal Process. It was very difficult time for us all. Before you experience loss, you don’t realise how much paperwork and bureaucracy comes with it. When you’re working through grief it’s the last thing you want to deal with, and many items get missed. Marie and her team took all that worry away and gave us more time to spend with my husband during his illness.
As a mother of 5 children under the age of 10, with a husband operating in a business with one of his family members, we felt it was a good time to take stock of where both we, and our affairs were. We had attempted to tackle this entire process on a few occasions with either accountants or solicitors but just could never get it over the line. Marie and her team helped us to untangle so much of the paperwork surrounding our affairs by simply being in a position to objectively view it, and manage it on our behalf. By having her manage the entire project, we finally got it completed, and the peace of mind which came with this was incredible.
We’ve always been a company who was open to new ways of helping out staff in areas of wellness and wellbeing. When one of our Directors engaged HereAfter on a personal level, he saw immediately the benefits which could come from such a service. Our staff took a huge amount from the experience with a number of them following up in a personal capacity afterwards.
